The Affordable Art Fair returned to Bristol for its annual visit last week, and welcomed thousands of visitors and buyers through its doors.  Fair director, Nicky Wheeler, found the time to do lots of media interviews, appearing on several local radio stations as well as featuring on ITV West Country’s TV news bulletin. Check out the footage here.

October is renowned as THE arty month in London and no event encapsulates all the best bits of an art fair more successfully than the Affordable Art Fair which ran from Thursday 21 â Sunday 24 last week. Now in its 11th year, the fair was consistently buzzing from the opening Charity Private View to the close of the fair at 6pm on Sunday.
A staggering 22,500 art-lovers, collectors and those just looking for a fun day out came through the doors at AAF, Battersea Park over the four day period spending a total of £4.25 million â recession, what recession?! Not only do these figures demonstrate the quality and range of work that is available to buy at AAF, they also show that the fair is resilient enough to survive announcements of budget cuts as Britainâs love of art continues to shine through.
Still need convincing? Take it from Spoonfedâs Tom Jeffrys and the Financial Times that the next London Affordable Art Fair is a must-visit event in March 2011!
