MAKING SOCIAL MEDIA WORK FOR YOU

How are you tackling the ever-developing world of social media?  Lots of brands are confused as to how to make it work for them, not to mention how to measure its commercial value.  We came up with a consumer engagement campaign for Cadbury Twisted which has won numerous awards for its use of social media (including the just-announced 2009 SABRE Award for New & Digital Media).  Consumers could live and breathe the brand, using their creativity and online network of friends and followers to be a part of the campaign, resulting in unprecedented levels of web activity and a 50% increase in visitors to the brand’s website. Mashable.com said, “We have seen and heard about a lot of impressive social media marketing campaigns in recent months… but the most recent campaign from Cadbury may be the most creative idea yet.”

Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted campaign picks up another award nomination

Zippadee-doodah, our Twisted social media campaign has been shortlisted for yet another award!  It’s nominated for the EMEA SABRE Digital & New Media Award, up against the creme de la creme of European PR agencies.  Gongs are handed out on 26 May, so watch this space….

In other awards news, the Twisted campaign sadly missed out on the Revolution FMCG Award (we were jointly shortlisted with CMW, the digital agency who we worked closely with on the project), but it went to a deserving winner – congrats to Hyper who took home the trophy for their Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel Nibbles campaign (my, Cadbury have some talented agencies on their books!).

Oh happy day, our Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted campaign has been nominated for yet another award!  We did a joint entry with CMW (Cadbury’s digital agency) for the Marketing Week Engage Awards, in the digital category, and just found out that we’ve been shortlisted.
